In a moment of inattention I appear to have caused the day/date adjust on my brand new Monster to malfunction by attempting to adjust it after 9pm.

So, Monster fans, is there a straightforward way to sort this, or, if not, can anyone recommend a repairer who's familliar with Monsters? Or can I expect any half-decent repairer/jeweller to be able to deal with it?

Spoiled my day, this has.

Hmmm, I've tried winding it on several days' worth, tried winding it backwards, tried using the date adjuster at various 'times' in the 24 hrs, all in the hope of re-engaging it somehow, but to no avail.

Given how little I understand about the way the things work I perhaps shouldn't be surprised.

Cheers. I'll make the time (see what I did there?) to check out the other forum.

Re the warranty; a. I broke it and b. it's Japan-only. It might be worth pursuing, but that's not the way I want to deal with it.

What is the issue with adjusting a Monster after 9pm?

You should also avoid feeding them after midnight. And just wait and see what happens if you get one wet.
