Two watches seen briefly at two airports at the weekend. Both being worn by people, so I didn't get a perfect view.

The first:

Round face, big (45mm+), black bezel, steel case, yellow strap. The yellow continued round the edge of the case, so it was sort of sandwiches by steel. Round crown, square buttons (2?) on the same edge.

The second:

Round face, big (45mm+). Steel case, black face, three(?) sub dials, the one at 6 was slightly larger. Each sub dial had a silver/grey ring around a black face, and the one at 9 might have ahad a red gradient, like a chrono dial. I thought the logo might have been AP or GP, but I didn't recogniose the watch from either maker. The strap (black leather with two ridges running lengthways) was held on with large screw-ended bars

Thanks all.

Second watch, proper guess don't shoot me... Audemars Piguet Royal Oak City of Sails Alinghi?

The pic is of a platinum version (I couldn't find a better picture to show the strap that to my eyes resembles "black leather [albeit rubber] with two ridges running lengthways"). The dials are clearly 'wrong' - but the Chronograph (second picture) has black dials, a splash of red at 9, AP, and 3 dials - so I think it's quite close to your description smile

Close... The ridges ont he strap I saw were raised rather than suinken. As you say, the sub dials are wrong. The numbnerals were in a grey/silver ring, and the centres were the same as the face (black). The dial at 9 is too busy in this pic. The splash of red (if there was one) was on the silver ring, not the whole dial.

I'm not certain it was AP or GP, but the logo looked small and that kind of shape.
