Local run, October 23rd

Hello!

There was some talk yesterday at the Service, mainly from me, about an October run. Who is interested in an early morning get-together and run early Sunday morning, October 23rd, around Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire? Just gathering interest, haven't decided on a meet point, route or finish point yet!

Am open to suggestions.

I've just moved down to the area (well, Barnet area which is classed as Hertfordshire I believe?) so am keen to find some good roads - though they'll have to be pretty good to live up to what I'm used to (Yorkshire Dales on one side of me, Yorkshire Moors the other)

Can't give much information yet I'm afraid. Previous runs have started around 7am, any later and you start finding traffic. Or cycle races.

Mostly uneven surfaces. One or two of the roads have deteriorated at the sides but no potholes snuck up on me that I remember from doing the route last week.

I used half a tank (~25 litres) at ~22mpg, we were not planning on stopping for fuel but haven't actually planned a half way stop. It's a BP garage at the services (I think).

plenty and I are most likely going to find somewhere to stop on the fly. We will definitely have a break but just not sure where!

Think you are back on the motorway once you have filled up! Find us first and go fill up a couple of minutes before we head off
