So my 4 year project XR2 has come to a point where the entire car has been restored and engine re-built with all new parts, I took it back down to Essex to have the car RR tuned now it's done 500 miles on the new engine and apparently it's spun a bearing so they are (rightly so) reluctant to put it on the RR.

I'll go and collect the car tomorrow but i'm looking for a garage or mechanic local to me that can have the crankshaft out, probably get it reground and have new bearings put in. I'd do it myself but i clearly screwed it up last time!

I'm a bit gutted and down on this, so just looking for any recommendations of a local place that could do this kind of work, somewhere around the Hitchin area.

Cheers
