I'm sorry I was unable to attend today but I've been reading the replies with interest.
My earlier comments on the meet, as has been said from the very beginning have been that "all are welcome" and that remains the case. At a previous meet I did go and ask nicely for a GTR not to go revving the nuts off it, because that's only going to attract criticism from the property owners 100 metres away, and rightly so on a Sunday morning. It is a public space and I think we should all simply ask ourselves this one question: would we be happy with what we are doing if it was taking place 100m outside our own houses on a Sunday morning - if we weren't car enthusiasts. As enthusiasts, we are prepared to tolerate a certain amount and that's all well and good. If we were miles away from other houses then I doubt anyone would have a problem with it. But, put yourself in the position of someone who isn't a car enthusiast, ask yourself the above question, see if you'd be happy with the answer, and I expect that will establish a code of conduct for everyone involved.
Everyone is welcome and I would encourage all enthusiasts to continue to turn up and I expect in the coming months we will have a terrific meet that everyone has helped to create. However, if you aren't prepared to be respectful of other people then it's probably best if you don't attend. We have had plenty of Ferraris and Lamborghini and McLarens turn up before and they manage to behave respectfully.

It will be on March 12 - I'll post it up in a few days - but by all means come along. I've always said it doesn't matter what you drive and although I joked the other week about there being 9-10 GTRs there, it was a great turnout for those guys and everyone else. Hopefully the weather will be back!
