A few pics from under the graffiti bridge in St Neots today, I'm not the best photographer so technically they're not great but it's a good spot for some arty shots anyhow;

Put duloe road, st neots into google maps. It's the small tunnel that goes inder under the a1.

It's a good location I keep meaning to use for shoots too, just haven't gotten round to doing it yet, fairly quiet by all accounts too!
Very. I'm always a little self concsious when taking photos of my car at the side of the road but this really is a quiet spot, best to bump up on the kerb though as despite it being 30 through there some people really do let fly along that piece of road, especially coming out of SN towards Duloe.

Did I see you rumble through Ashwell at about 10 this morning?
Sorry just seen this. Presume you mean Ashwell in Herts? If so then not me, plus I was in the middle of cleaning her at that time. I did however, have a 100 mile run that afternoon around Bedford.

Is it a busy road? as I note the cars are parked sensibly.

plus I think my ruffian evo would look well suited with graffiti behind if I wandered over that way.
It's reasonably quiet, certainly quiet enough to park up and not worry about holding people up.

It's a tunnel that faces East to West so depends what lighting you want really. Morning you'll have it come in one end, mid-day it'll be over the top so no direct light and evening it'll come in the other side.

I've not been to the bridge before and don't know the area, just wondering if you knew how busy the road is and how safe it is to park up a car and take photos at the location? i.e. Speed limit of road and visibility (e.g. is it after a blind bend that people drive too fast around?!)

Thanks
Speed limit is 30 though it is worth noting that it's the border between coming out of the town and heading into the country so people can and do fly through there at times. You should be OK providing you don't do anything stupid like park across the road.
Obviously be aware of peak traffic times such as early evenings when people are making their way home from work etc. I live a minutes drive from there so know it well.

Blimey! Looks like I've started quite a trend since starting this thread last year. I really need to get down there again at some point whilst my car is clean (a very rare sight).
Strangely, despite the amount of times I blast through that tunnel I've never seen another car parked up being photographed, nor have I ever seen a general random stop and take pics of the artwork itself. So many people shoot through but I bet few actually notice the walls smile

I have to go to Cambridge this afternoon, the noisy cricket is filthy but I think I'll still have to go there and try to get some photos. Is it a busy road, I think front on against the exploding bricks would be good.

Edited to add: PS, the aero is amazing, did you get them to touch up the wall to tone in and the other shot that stands out is the front of the aston with the reflection.... absolutely amazing. I'll have to go look at it.

Cheers

Its reasonably busy, goes from a 30 to 60 pretty much about the entrance so just be careful and if you do park right across the road don't moan if you either get smacked or someone has a moan smile

How long is this tunnel or do the murals just change regularly?
It's the width of a dual carriageway and the murals change every few months. 3 concrete panels on each side of the road.

Sorry about the tread resurrection but does anyone know if this is still going on ie graffiti on the tunnel walls? Went a few years back and want to go again but I do not live locally.

Thanks in advance
There is still graffiti under there but it's now pretty much just all tags like the bottom pic in the [post above yours. I certainly wouldn't bother making a special journey over just for this.
