Novice sailing video
Discussion
We took our flying fifteen to Rutland water on Sat, had a great day. After our usual sailing club we felt lost out on the vast expanse of water. Not brave enough to tackle the sea yet. got a bit of video recorded on mobile, turned out a lot better than I thought.

Nice! But I was not expecting that soundtrack on a Fred video...most of the Fred sailors in our club would be filming on 8mm and adding "greensleeves" as the soundtrack! I'm not knocking Freds though...I saw one out in the Solent in a proper F6+ last year and it looked epic. Mind you, never seen crash helmets in a Fred!
I'll see your Fred at Rutland and raise you a 49er at Draycote. Excuse the rather shocking gybes though...not had it long! Camera is a GoPro wide gaffer taped to a ski pole gaffer taped to the boom.

Cracking vid. Will get a GoPro one day. That 49er look a bit too exciting for us. I'll see your Fred at Rutland and raise you a 49er at Draycote. Excuse the rather shocking gybes though...not had it long! Camera is a GoPro wide gaffer taped to a ski pole gaffer taped to the boom.

The two lads in the vid are brothers. Their dad suffered a head injury that has blighted him the rest his life from a relatively minor knock. I suppose they have been bought up to protect their heads. We realise that we are crap sailers, but it's like sex, you don't need to be any good to enjoy it.
