Not been over myself, but I am told that the chalets are under construction, so the countdown has begun.
XH558 is apparently confirmed for the weekend, along with USDOD C-17, C130J, F-15, F-16, CV22, obviously the Arrows. A350 / A380 also confirmed.

Farnborough was ALWAYS a trade show.

Farnborough's flying display always started in the afternoon. I've been to most since 1978.

These days the public say displays are substantially different to the trade days with more historic aircraft and privately owned aircraft compared to during the week. Many of the trade display aircraft go home by Friday.
My first was 82. I recall seeing the 757 and 767, along with the B1, not sure if it was the B1B or not.
My dad, god rest his soul was concerned about me taking a camera, as he was worried it would be done for spying...

ETA... Google tells me that it was a B1A

Nothing on the official air show website.
Not open to the public, so I am not surprised by this.

I was told around 1 ish. But don't hold me to this! We just normally get a 5 minute warning from the tower if anything special is doing a fly by. We've had two spits within the last month.
Are these ever publiced? Twitter / Facebook etc?

So, could be already happening. Not heard anything to be honest.
DC3 in D-Day colours has completed a very cool validation flight from about 11.20 (lots of swooping turns and a VERY low level passes down the runway). He has now landed and taxied over near to the south end of the Airfield. He was followed a short while ago by the World War One flight (5 aircraft, various configuations). That Flight have now left the airspace and headed North, Northwest.

It's great having an office with a complete view of the airfield smile
Just appeared on Facebook.. lucky gits..

Where is the Sea Harrier coming from?

I expect it must be a static, non-flying, example.

I presume the 262 is the new build based in Germany.
Sea Harrier is Spanish and Flying, and you are correct about the New Build ME262 AFAIK. Everything above is flying.

The Swan has a decking session that overlooks the airfield. However, the pup has been "gentrified" in recent years and the proprietor now charges extra for patrons to use the decking area during show week.
I went in last year for food and drinks after a local hockey game and was impressed so if its a small fee I'd be happy to pay, any idea how much?
Surprised you could see much from The Swan last year, the show was in Paris
