Went solo today!

After 16 months of learning (including a gap from last August until 3 weeks ago), I finally got sent on a solo circuit of Cambridge airfield earlier today in their trusty Cessna 172, G-UFCB

Was rather nervous all day and night yesterday, and very nervous after 3 circuits with the instructor when she said, "Right then Greg, would you like to have a go on your own now?" I almost said no!

It all went very well. Landing was better than I thought it might be - all the wheels stayed on!

Can't wait till Saturday now and hopefully three more solo circuits or maybe some advanced turning

^^ No Sir - I still have some 12 and 13 left. Mostly now done. On to 14 and 15 tomorrow morning.

Don't really understand why 13,13 and 14 are soooo long. It'd be better to have more chapters, so you feel like you're making progress faster!!
