I would say that was quite conservative. That assumes that every sailor spends 300.00 on shore.
Does not take into account the people like myself who will be travelling into Portsmouth to see her.

Err...Isn't it still the largest warship in the world?!?

I am very temped to go down on Saturday to have a look. They don't appear that often. I remember someone else posting details of the last Nimitz class to visit Portsmouth and that was a few years ago.
Its leaving on Friday as far as I'm aware, Saturday will be too late.
