What plane did I see?

Hi all,
A recent holiday to a European destination I saw a military transport plane with a rather odd tail setup.
It also appeared to be loaded with all sorts of racks/cages of gear.
I've produced a very rough image (in Paintbrush, sorry!) of what it looked like.
I thought the plane was a C130 but could be wrong. Just curious but any ideas what I saw?
There was also a Harrier on the ground, F16s' training and a couple of large US planes dotted about.
