Hearing rumours for those interested that there is about to be a deployment by the American for summer ops out of Fairford. Initially B52's due any day now, and in July, B1bs' for the first time in a while. I guess they'll be gone by RIAT thoough.
Saw one on my way back from Pembrokeshire today. Thought it was an airliner at first, but the exhaust smoke made me look twice and sure enough it was a lone B52. Wondered what he was doing.
