As the last show us your boat thread died a death back in 2008 i think its time we had a new one. This time i think we need some tow cars too.
i will start us off with a bit of my boat history.
Firstly this all started with
It was a Christmas present when i was about 14 I used it on the non-tidal Medway. Then when I got my first car at 17 I sold it to a guy who was taking to France on holiday.
Quite a few years past and I kept my boating issues subdued with rentals on holiday and going out on friends boats, however I was sitting on the beach last summer watching people launch their speed boats and I decided that I wanted a boat again.
About two weeks later I had collected a 1992 Ring 16 with a 140hp Johnson.
She wasn’t the most reliable of boats but we had a blast so at the end of the season I put her up for sale, she sold around February so I was on the hunt for a new boat this time I came home with:
2002 Wellcraft 190 Excalibur with a 190hp 4.3v6 Mercruiser.
We collected her from north wales in February, driving through the snow on the way home. Gave her a good clean and polish and fixed a few bits and she was a good boat.
She went last Sunday to make way for my 3rd boat in a year and 9 days, i think I've gone a bit mad! Hopefully collecting her tomorrow I've had to have a trailer made because she has been dry stacked her whole life.

I can do a thread on getting the regal ready for the water if anyones interested! she hasn't seen the water for 2 years.
