Wiring up an aircraft gauge?

Evening all,
Yesterday I bought this gauge, to use on a ground based project of mine. I'm told it's from a 'Whistling Tit' (RAF Argosy), though I have no way of telling for myself.
Anyway, I want to wire it up bit cannot find a wiring diagram online. I'm also slightly puzzled by the connection on it, as the aircraft 8-pin plugs I've seen are generally all the same size, whereas this has a fatter centre pin.
Would anyone be able to help at all please?
