Does anyone know the current whereabouts of the motor yacht Shemara?

Is it yours and has it been stolen?
LOL, no not mine, as far as I know still owned by Harry Hyams, I remember she was moored in Southampton when I was a kid, apparently laid up on the east coast for a while, talk of her going to Scotland but I'm not sure if she did.

Lovely old ship.

ETA - think I have found her, according to the web laid up in Lowestoft

I went to see the old girl today, I couldn't work on the car as its raining.

See pics, she's listing a bit, looked better than I thought she might.

Did you go on board?
No, I couldn't, there was no one about to chat to and lots of barriers in place. I hope the refit goes ahead and restores her to her former glory.

I hope the props stolen from Trafalgar Wharf are not from Shemara.

A chum has just been refitting his Nic 55 at the yard where she is, but was unable to proffer any info on the rebuild.

Looking forward to seeing the finished article, love that steering wheel on the aft deck.

Its nearly 4 years since I started this thread, I'm delighted.

Did they keep the ships wheel on the aft deck? Would be a shame if not.
