Hi usually I brew my own and prefer keg beer, due to my own laziness and the weather I won't have any ready for 4-5 weeks. So looking for some bottled stuff to enjoy. I like ales not a big fan of light summer ales, when out I'll drink Purity UBU, Doombar, London pride etc but these don't seem to suit bottles.

So the other day I had a bottle or two Goffs Jouster, very nice too, seemed to suit a bottle. So what should I try, for convenience sake I would like to use Waitrose (they don't stock Goffs)

Looking forward to supping some of your favorites. beer

Anything from this lot if you can get it. If you can't I'm happy to buy a couple a drop them off when I'm up in Stratford in a few weeks time.

Thanks chaps

Mrs Jim is heading off hunting and foraging tomorrow, with instructions to bring back a selection of Badger Beers.

I'd like to browse but always get so confused, I find bottle beers don't taste like their keg counterparts.

Oh you've gone and done it now, it'll only be small detours from normal errands. If I get the taste for it I'll have to give up homebrew.

Just opened a bottle of Golden Glory (slightly chilled) sat on a shady bit of the patio with a slight breeze. Lovely summer beer, life doesn't get much better (but maybe my expectations are a bit low)
