I'm in France at the moment. I come to France many times each year, and whilst I'm not a particularly fussy eater, I do know to avoid andouillette. About 4 hours ago, I ordered a cassoulet d'agneau which arrived, without warning, with ingredients including an obvious andouillette sausage. I removed this to a side plate and ate the rest (which was fine).

4 hours later, back in my chateau, in my bed, I can still smell it. Why oh why does anyone human think that andouillette is a good, or tasty, or wholesome thing?

If it's "eat andouilette or hand in your man-card at the door" then I'm afraid I'll be shopping in Dorothy Perkins from here on in! If I really fancy a st sausage then I'm sure my dog will serve me up one for far less than €20!
