5 get over excited in London
Discussion
So here's the brief:
5 middle aged man friends (all married with kids so no coke & hookers) meeting up for a weekend of fun and indulgence without the wives and kids in London mid December. We're going to take a serviced apartment somewhere central as a base for the weekend. We're all foodies (and drinkies) and between us we think we have a pretty good knowledge of the superficial face of London. But what we're looking for is to experience the hidden London, the best bits that are largely unknown but stupendously excellent and memorable for reasons that you might find difficult to explain to someone who hadn't been there. So I'm looking for recommendations on the most interesting, unusual and unforgettable eating and drinking experiences in the city. Budget is not open ended but none of us mind paying for something exceptional.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
