I will get flamed, but I can cope with the abuse.

Please Coca-Cola tell me why you decided to ruin Dr Pepper with the 'New Improved' recipe of artificial sweeteners alongside the sugar for some arbitrary calorie saving.

I drink sugary caffeinated drinks as a treat - I don't need you poisoning them with horrid aftertastes and post consumption gastric distress.

You might as well go the whole hog and ruin Coke too, then I can just drink Pepsi 100% of the time.

But they already have Diet and Zero brands...which are using artificial sweeteners only, why ruin the sugar version ?

Is it even sugar they're getting rid of; I thought a lot of these were high fructose corn syrup, thanks to insane US federal farm subsidies?
Not in the UK.... At least the sugar is sugar here.

What about Lilt and Fanta? They all taste dodgy these days. frown
Lilt has contained artificial sweetener for as long as I can remember. Fanta may have only recently gone part sweeter.

Seems Coca-Cola are on the charm offensive:

So 7-up is still sugar only?

Try finding a sugar only chewing gum, it takes some searching.
Yup 7-up is OK (for now ?!??) Never seen sugared gum.
