Suggestion from Lord Grover that a thread would be good for suggesting advice regarding equiptment etc, so here we are. What do you have and what would you advise?

Do people have much of an issue with Weber's leaking heat and smoke and requiring lots of topping up of fuel? How many times do you have to add more coals for an 8 hour smoke?

Wow! need details??? looks superb! how you going to protect it from the elements?
Thanks, Its made of Iroku and treated with Danish oil so its not going anywhere fast. May get a cover made up just to stop it getting water stains. Local hardwood specialist supplied the timbers and cut all the M & T's based on a simple design I put together on some graph paper. A Joiner who I have been using on some other jobs around the house put it all together for me whilst I made cups of Tea and came up with last minute design ideas. The sink is for Beer, just going to chuck a load of ice in it, lined underneath with Celotex so should help it stay cool. The doors underneath the sink are just dummies to hide some piping etc and we used offcuts and some spare handles from the kitchen for a bit of bling. It's mounted on casters and really easy to move about so can change the configuration to suit the occasion.

Any compares between the BBQ-Dragon and a Looftlighter at all?
Sorry, never used a Looflighter. The BBQ Dragon blows cold air though, so you need to light the BBQ first.
I've got a Looftlighter, have to say, its bloody brilliant.
