Anyone else use these?

In the summer I bought a big brisket, pork shoulder, burgers etc for a BBQ from Great British Meat Co. Price and quality were excellent but I hadn't actually ordered again. On Saturday I got one of their mailshots that said they had 60kg of Beef Shin from a cancelled order at £4 per kg. Incredible value, I bought the per customer max of 6kg, and figured I may aswell add 2.5kg of chicken breast fillets, 1.5kg of black pudding, 1.5kg pork leg, and some bacon to qualify for the free delivery. All of this for just over £50 - bargain.

Should add tarelgin.com for Scottish stuff. 3lbs black pudding stick for £7, 4lbs square sausage for £5.50. Excellent.

8oz rump steaks at £2.34 a piece on special offer, seems pretty good value at £10 per kg!

I never understand butchers, so it's £8.50 for 60 oz of burgers which is made from chuck steak. It's £12.40 for 70 oz of the chuck steak.

Surely it should be the other way around ! lol

Buying meat at retail prices is so vastly over inflated compared to 'trade' prices. Particularly when you want to make your own sausages and burgers etc.

Mail shot said it was a cancelled order, I've ordered those burgers before and they were more like 1.10 each or so
