I find the range of long life milk available quite baffling. What's the difference in it all, especially the value/smart price one? Milk is milk, is it not?

I knew that! I wasn't asking the difference between long life and fresh milk, but the difference between the choices of long life milk brands. I was more curious about value/smart price milk.

I only ever have milk on my cereal and in my coffee and I don't notice any difference

If you like soya milk, Tesco's own brand is quite nice, doesn't need to be refrigerated until opened, and nearly half the price of Alpro.
I'd stick with soya milk if it didn't curdle in my coffee!
