I discovered it a year or two back - the milk chocolate was the best, far better than green and black's, hotel chocolat etc.

But I went to top up at the weekend and it's all changed. They now have some kind of cardboard wrapper - I hoped it was just a packaging change but sadly not. The milk (70%) was horrible. frown

Bring back the old stuff!

Waitrose 1 was on offer last month and wasn't bad - a definite second place, but much better than the current range. So unless this is temporary it seems I'll have to protest by buying my chocolate there.

Toblerone and Cadbury's are owned by Mondelez, as are Terry's.

M&S don't make stuff, they just sell it so.....?

I gave up on Cadbury's years ago, and that was before the takeover.
Yes, not sure who actually makes it but it was a clear winner in my view. The new stuff... Isn't.

I discovered at the weekend that the reason the new M&S stuff was horrible was because I'd actually bought the wrong type.

Having now bought the correct bar, it seems it is simply a re-packaging exercise and it tastes just as good. smile

Slightly off topic but when I was in USA in my twenties I absolutely loved Hersheys (esp the kisses) but now it is clear they taste fatty and not at all like chocolates should taste! Anyone else think the same or is it just me?
I think it's just you - Hersheys was always disgusting!
