Sat at my desk, innocently munching away on a kiwi, when a colleague starts shouting at me as if im on fire about me eating the kiwi whole, skin and all.

I’ve been told before that you are not supposed to eat the skin, but that’s where all the flavour/sourness is and having tried one without I couldn’t possibly waste that precious skin ever again.

Am I alone in my kiwi skin eating ways?

Another one is lemons and limes, used to take a whole lemon to school and eat it like an orange, still can’t have a drink with a slice of lemon or lime and not eat it at the end, the best bit!

Finally, as a kid, whenever I went to the supermarket I wanted a treat, most kids would be around the cookies or sweets, I used to BEG for a herring rollmop, and proceed to eat it in the car on the way home, Loved them, not had one for years now.

Anyone else got any quirks when it comes to food?

Mum and dad once had a 3 year old foster boy who's favourite food was tomato. Not in stuff, not soup, not ketchup, but a fresh raw tomato. He'd sit eating it like an apple, and was in his favourite place.
I do this too, wasn't even aware it was classed as odd confused

maltesers. nibble chocolate off without damaging the malty centre.
I do this too, same principle works even better on a ferrer rocher!

The rest are just plain odd though, esp the ball of soggy melted choc mars bar nougat

very similar to RB above, my misses loves a costa bacon and brie Panini.

However she won’t eat bacon fat, or brie rind, they use streaky bacon and lots of little bits of brie, so she sits there, peels it apart, removes about 8% of the bacon and half the cheese and puts it back together again to eat it.
