I've got the Porsche experience coming in April and I'm driving down with the wife (who will be doing the experience) and the kids. We are driving down the day before and stopping over at the premier inn at Silverstone but would like something decent to eat in the evening other than what is offered in the pub tied to the premier inn.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Cheers
Paul

OP what would you class as "decent" / what is wrong with the Green Man / what is it that you are looking for? Fine dining? A particular cuisine? Something else?

You've got suggestions on here ranging from a slightly posher version of McDonalds to a fine dining hotel restaurant. It's difficult to know what to suggest without a bit more info.
It's a fair question. I've stayed at a few premier inns and usually the food offered in the adjoining pubs is at best average and comparable to the two meals for a tenner that you find in a lot of chain owned pubs. Not looking for fine dining as I will have my teenage kids with me but we like to eat well. We will have driven for a few hours so it would be nice to sit down and have something decent. That said the convenience of being able to have a few beers is swinging heavily in the Green Mans favour.
