Is it a good idea?

I bought all the ingredients and it really needs to be done on a non work day due to the cooking times. Planned for today but dont really fancy it after a few beers. I feel like I should go ahead but not really in the mood for a roast, take away madras, rice and nan would be more like it.

Surfice to say im bored out of my mind and taking pictures of my dinner is the highligh of my evening. I hate the winter and feel like as soon as its dark, the day is over so when I leave work in the dark thats it the day is done and wait for the next morning and work again frown. I cant wait for the summer so its light when I get home, I can chuck a bucket of water over the car and maybe get a coat of wax on it.

Actually taking pics of food is somthing I have thought about doing for a while, seeing how well I can get the dish to match the pictures in the recipe book.

First attempt is the before

Did you nosh an entire chicken, Cotters? Blimey. I thought I could chow down...

Or is that a Poussin?

In any event - looks bloody good.
Its a Sainsbury's small chicken, about 1.25kg on a 13" plate lick

Yep I ate it all, well apart from a couple of potatoes

I prefer it set for two, just think it looks better than set for one.

Roasts tend to come out best due to the laissez-faire approach you adopt.
