So what constitutes a perfectly balanced cheese board then? what would your ideal one be?

ok i did a roquefort, brie, stilton and plum, goats cheese (because i had it left over) and PH favourite M&S crunchy one - went down ever so well combined with fanned apple, celery and grapes

I can't abide an oatcake with cheese. Just plain wrong - like a hobnob without sugar. Apart from that, I'm actually pretty relaxed so long as whatever I've chosen is piled high with one of the aforementioned cheeses!

And to accompany it, a good slug of Tawny Port please.
