Couple of Mixes I did recently after getting the old 1210's & basic mixer out after about 12-15years

First one is Called 'the limit mix' (where this stuff was played in Manchester when I first went clubbing as a 16 year old a very long time ago. It's a mix of very early house (prob more techno from about 1992)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz9l2tJp_kc&fea...

The second is called 'out of control'
Kind of stuff played at Bowlers in Manchester. More piano house

good idea about listing the records, will have a look through them an put a list up when I get chance

Tried soundcloud, but only allows you 120mins for free (so one mix really) so can;t store more than 120mins without paying (and I'm cheap)

Having two toddlers doesn't free up much time to spend on the decks!

Here's recent mix of vinyl played at the Zone in Blackpool early mid 90's

It's mostly Italian piano house

No chance of an mp3 version of the first mix is there? That brings back a lot of memories - in fact I think I've got most of those tracks on vinyl in the garage somewhere, must dig them out at some point.
They will be worth a few £!

I have another mix similar to that I need to upload (will do this week)
I do have it on mp3 but how can I post/link that? (Sorry I'm not very technical, took me 15yrs to record onto a PC rather than tape cassette!)

Y'know, because you put "house" I didn't bother. But now I've just listened to a bit of the first mix. It's not really house... more hardcore? Wonder how I can download it.
Your right it's early hardcore (I used to call it techno before it went into so many genres)

Ive got another mix like this, will upload this week and look at putting them on that Dropbox suggested above

No cd's or mixing programmes just plain old vinyl and very basic mixer

I am ten minutes in and enjoying it. You're a bit tasty on the ones and twos aren't you Andy.
Cheers fella. Wish I'd sent more tapes out when younger and did more clubs. Dj'd few times but nothing regular (lots people I kind of know are doing a lot of gigs like bowlers etc again now, think I'm probably past it now & don't have the time with young family plus I'd turn up with vinyl & they'd probably have cd or mp3's players and I wouldn't have a clue what to do!

I didn't want to patronise you, but if you'd been mixing like that when the tunes were new you'd have done well.
Your probably right I think my mixing has improved after 15year gap, bit more patient now but never sent my tapes to anyone, never knew any promotors only did clubs through mates who ran their odd night

Few summer style Oldskool tunes. Hope you like the "symphony" mixes at the start (Massive Attack with 2 bad mice) and at the end (Back by Dope Demand with hybrid finished Symphony)
