I was tempted to ask what guitar bits, but music is a broad church & so let's not be selfish.

This is on it's way to me. 2nd one, shouldn't have sold the 1st, it was magic.

Seriously thinking about a Helweg pedal board. These are things of great beauty to my eyes. Plus my home made affair is getting a bit rickety in it's old age.

Helwegs are custom made-ish. You can have what you want & that was just a pic nicked off Google for the purposes of drooling over.

Still no pickup. I rang them up on Friday & moaned. Turns out when I rang them up on Monday & moaned, the guy working there made nice noises & then went about his day. Now they're out of stock. New ones in Wednesday apparently, so I said if it's not here Thursday. give me my money back. Three weeks is patience enough I think?

No naming & shaming, I'll give these guys one more go but if it's not in my hot little hands by Thursday, I shall administer a bking over the phone such that would smite the very bks from a mighty elephant.

I'm selling a bunch. It's up to 11 which is frankly ridiculous & I'm running out of walls.

Forgive me for this, but knowing three fifths of not much about drumming, what do they feel like compared to a normal kit? Sorry, not sure if I'm using anything close to the right terminology.

Mine is never off.

For the record, I have nothing to do with Roland, Boss or anyone else. I just think it's awesome kit. smile

I am single handedly turning the guitarists of PH into headphone wearing silent assassins.

It's the natural condition of all musicians to think all the others are better than they are. You're a better guitarist than you think.

I've literally got room left for half a pedal on my board & our bass wallah has been moaning at me that I'm using a delay pedal as a reverb & he's right, so I've just bought one of these.

That compressor looks great from the video on the link you posted. A better compressor is next on my list of pedals, so I'll have to give one a try.

I picked up a Big Muff Pi/with tone Wicker yesterday. I compared it to a RAT pedal, but found that the RAT was closer to my Tube Screamer, so no point buying something too similar to what I already have. It really suits some of the songs we do and some new ones I'd like us to play.

To much other stuff in the shop to tempt me while I waited for a 'booth' at Andertons. They must have about 500 pedals on display, let alone all the guitars and amps...
Spook. I went the other way & ditched my Big Muff for a RAT to accompany my Tube screamer. I found the Big Muff muddy & the RAT to be wonderfully adjustable from Ramones buzzing to Clapton creamy. Not that I play either much.

Bought another amp, early '80s Laney AOR 30 head, all tube, fantastic sound. Brings the amp count up to twenty, might be time to thin the herd a little...
Let me know if you get nay bites. I'm on 11 guitars & I'm running out of room.

Spookily, I've got a 63 Hofner veritihin stereo here that belonged to my dad. That one stays but I am thinning down the collection.
