I liked the cover........
I used to do this in my early 20's, as a sort of way to discover new music. I haven't bought a vinyl album for nearly 20 years, but yesterday I popped into HMV with no intention of buying any vinyl, ended up spending half an our looking through a very limited number of records (guess about 50), many of them re-releases of old classic albums..... and now I own a Hercules & Love Affair - The Feast of the Broken Hearted.
No idea what genre it was..... resisted temptation to put it on the turntable when I got home..... then at 9pm... that magical moment of taking the vinyl out of the sleeve for the first time..... sat back with bottle of wine.... and wow it sounded great.
Loved the sound of Hercules & Love Affair.... not my normal stuff, but a good listen... and think I'll be trying more
as for the vinyl... it exceeded all my expectations... heavy weight stuff, no crackle (un like my +20 yrs old collection)... maybe this is going to relight my listening experience
