Doesn't really matter for a festival the size of Glasto though I suppose, if she does perform I'm sure there'll be something else to see or do when she's on, much like when that trollop Lily Allen was on last year. There's so much I didn't really do or see much of last year, I can't wait to go back now I know a bit better what to expect - almost counting the days!
Oh don't get me wrong, I pray for a simultaneous gap of bands I am not interested in, so I can go and see some of the other stuff. This one will be my 7th Glastonbury and they have all been great.Alt-J are a strong rumur which would be excellent

First time going this year. Was really hoping for the mighty AC/DC but that seems to have evaporated. Faith No More were rumoured at one stage on efestivals but I can't find it now.
Taylor fking swift is a bad joke. Foo's I've seen before a few times and they were ok I guess.
Any major headliner predictions anyone? Efestivals seems to be tying itself in knots trying to work out what's going on.....
Seriously, don't worry too much about the headliners, the biggest issue I alwasy have is , from about 4pm till close on all 3 major days there are at least 2 bands on at the same time I want to see.Taylor fking swift is a bad joke. Foo's I've seen before a few times and they were ok I guess.

Last year I didn't watch any of the headline acts, one day I was losing my brain at a crazy night at Shangri-la, other 2 there were better things on in the smaller stages

Based on what I've read on efestivals, AC/DC isn't going to happen. Personally a bit gutted, I've always wanted to see them live after watching the Live at Donington DVD. I've got a feeling Blur will probably headline, but I've never been a fan so not too fussed if they do. Royal Blood played in the John Peel tent last year
Would like to see Blur but have zedro interest in AC/DC although sure they are a polished live actRoyal Blood were very good last year

dont really know his music just know he's known as a bell end. will prob watch first 10 mins then go for a wander. jay z was awesome but then i knew his stuff. my moneys is on noel gallagher sunday with brother teaming up half way through for a glasto moment
Don't think NG and his high flyind birds whatsit is a big enough name to close the main stage - an Oasis reunion would be but cannot see it happening.Kanye is an interesting one, certainly a huge name, and a huge talent IMHO, but as is so often a huge tt also - but I don;t care provided he can do a good live show.
Either way Glastonbury is so much more than the Pyramid headliners
The usual feelings:
50% of interest
50% not
Will not have time to see everything I want to
Will be fantastic
Will see 10 or so bands I really like making it £20 each and a bloody bargain, without including all the extra-curricular fun and madness
Particular highlights for me:
Future Islands
Alt-J
Jungle
Deadmau5
Chemical brothers
Years and years
Peace
Caribou
Foo Fighters
Bit of Lionel on Sunday pm chill out
Death cab for cutie
Jamie XX
Todd Terje
Does the special guests gap mean we still have the final Pyramid headliner to come?

I actually think Kanye is a clever musician, and very creative - he is openly a a massive dhead but there again I am sure a lot of artists are unlikeable idiots but their PR is better at hiding it.
Thing putting me off is a) him being a tt/bore on stage and b) most rap/hip-hop sounding crap live to me
I find a) less prevalent at Glastonbury as artists know no one paid big money to watch them particularly, and could quite easily bugger off and watch someone/do something else
Anyone seen this configuration of Clinton & Co before and can describe? I like Funkadelic but find Parliament a bit dated now. Are the Family Stone, everyone minus Sly but play the old SATFS stuff, which would be good ?

He is bound to have a rant about something, I actually liked his first couple of albums but I struggle to see past his personality. I also agree that the actual rapping sounds rubbish live, though this is sometimes overcome by the use of orchestras etc.
He can't have a 20 minute rant though, timings are strict at Glastonbury so he is just losing play time, and it would be hilarious if he started with one, and the field emptied and everyone buggered off to Shangri-La I watched Public Enemy at Glastonbury, think they are great but all the clever instrumentals got lost and the rapping was just shouting, probably way better in a smaller indoor venue but even so, I thought stick to the brilliant recordings

Where is a good place to start with George Clinton and friends? I've heard a couple of things of his before but not sure what to expect from them, would be interested in finding out if I'd enjoy seeing them.
I asked a similar thing at my wonderful local independent record store (remember them?) Soul Brother Records in Putney (support them at http://www.soulbrother.com)and they recommended the early Funkadelic albums, have a bit of Hendrix about them, a good place to start

Small world, yes I lived on the same street, Keswick Road, for 5 years, recently moved to Wandsworth but I still love living and working in London.
It's a great shop, always open always friendly, always wonder how it keeps going. Soul/jazz/funk not really my thing but I wanted to support the place so had a chat with the guy and asked him some advice on where to start, hence getting into Funkadelic and ownting a natty SB t shirt
