Got to say i am looking forward to the new Prodigy album. Been sampling a few tracks pre released and loving the Wild Frontier - initially loved Nasty, Nasty but the Tim Burton type video has now got me hooked on this track instead.
I really got into them from Firestarter and loving bands from Gary Numan to Black Sabbath they make sense of the link between electronic and rock music. Anyway, the album is pre ordered for the 30th. Anyone else waiting for it?

if you want proper prodigy you need to go back to 1992 and "Experience".

anything after that was when they lost their roots and went more for the masses.
Well if they lost their roots then they found their way. I like their stuff better from Fat Of The Land. I mean, whilst i don't mind the earlier stuff when they got heavier i really tuned in. For the masses, really?

I guess every band gets this arguement. I could spout on all day about how great Tubeway Army were but that was then and Numan evolved into something bigger and better (then poor in the middle) then bigger and better again.

Anyway, who gives a stuff, roll on the 30th smile

As my Prodigy-loving colleague said: it's just an entire album of the same mood. No ebb and flow. Just ANGRY.
That's what i like about it smile

Seriously, are you sure? There is an ebb and flow to it from what i am hearing. Take Ibiza and Into The Deathray for instance. Complete difference in feel and pace. I reckon that was a throw away comment to be honest.
