Amazon - What's the story with these Yamaha Guitars?

Looking to get an acoustic guitar, mainly for me but also for Little Ex 'to grow into'.

What's the story with these 'used' Amazon sales vs the 'new'?

e.g. Used:

vs

New

These links come and go but there seems to be a good £40 difference. Is it just the cardboard box that is damaged or is the guitar damaged?

(Really miss having a guitar in the house!)
