Anyone else stuck in the past?

I have just started using Spotify on my smartphone to stream music on headphones while I get some exercise.
I have the ability to create my own playlists and, at present, only have 2: Classic Rock & Modern Rock.
A quick look at my 'Modern' category shows me that most are still well over 20 years old: Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, STP, The Cult etc. Even AC/DC Blow Up Your Video is in my modern category for f
k's sake.
Anyone else stuck in the past?
The modern stuff I do find myself listening to sometimes is by Audioslave, Royal Blood, Rival Sons and whatever the latest Foo and RHCP album is. That kind of stuff.
Are there any/many bang up to date rock outfits that would tickle my fancy?
I appreciate that, just like PH, music aint what it used to be, but surely there must be a modern Vedder, Cornell or Astbury.
