I don't mind his music at all, but more importantly I saw him in a Goodwood interview a few days ago and the interviewer said that Ed had just bought a Ferrari and asked him what it was, and naturally I expected him to say it was a new California or some other "Just wanted a Ferrari because I'm famous, so I went to the showroom and picked a red one with comfy seats", but no, he had bought a Testarossa.
He went up massively in my estimations.

Other than that, which other artist could pack a stadium just on his own? Very talented lad.
Bowie, Prince, Madonna, Springsteen...I'd think Prince and Springsteen might just about be able to pull it off. Not sure sure about Bowie. Madonna- no chance.

I think he means completely on his own - no dancers, no backing singers, no band - just him, his guitar and a loop machine thing.

Dunno, none of them are my cup of tea, some Bowie excepted.I'd think Prince and Springsteen might just about be able to pull it off. Not sure sure about Bowie. Madonna- no chance.

I was there last night too - thoroughly enjoyed it.
Example was pretty good as the first warm-up and Rudimental were ok too but I must admit that I was a touch disappointed that we didn't get a special guest appearance on stage with Ed, as those who went on Friday did

Brilliant.Grint seems pretty cool when I've seen him in interviews, his brother is a rally driver (think rally GB? But don't quote me on that), so perhaps some of the car-yness has rubbed off.
Didn't mind lego house, but haven't liked any other hits. Hate the whole white man rapping stuff he does, quite awful. I can see why lots like him though, that whole acoustic laid back stuff is rather appealing to most, but personally I find it has too much of a waft of the douchebag about it and his song writing cant neutralise the doucebaggery.
