Aged 49 after all these years with various bottles hitting me on the back of the head at rock concerts I have finally decided what makes someone a great music listener. And it's being eclectic.
Being eclectic means you are narrow minded. And throwing off those shackles means you enjoy music more. Especially in these digital times. Not sure Gloria Estefan would have done Monsters of Rock, but I am boogying on down tonight at her, breath of air and a difference.
Or perhaps I am getting old?
No, being eclectic is the way to love music, never be narrow minded, be from Radio 3 to Tamil radio to something your mum would not like. Perhaps twice.
