Show us your home studio setup?
Discussion
I'm hoping this won't be a 'mine is bigger than yours' thread. I appreciate that some have proper pro studios (or work in them) and others a simple PC/Tape machine and a keyboard/guitar. Mine is half way between I would guess. Also some of us do it for a living and other's don't (tax deductable!) ... so here goes - my setup:
Mac G5 duel running Digital Performer & MOTO stuff, a fair amount of outboard synths and processors, Mackie desk, most that Spectrasonics have to offer, and Robson monitors & amps (to die for BTW). AKG414 with the SE baffle, and a bunch of guitars and basses in 'the room off'.
90% of what I write I record in 'proper' studios (mostly in London), but occasionally I master here.
Control room
Isolation room (suitable for single instruments only - who wants a drummer anyway? )
Don't be shy... show us where you do your writing/recording!

Not exactly my "home" studio setup.... I have no home studio
But my band have been recording on this at Parr Street since June 2008. Album should be ready soon!
I thought Parr St was sold and redeveloped a while back? But my band have been recording on this at Parr Street since June 2008. Album should be ready soon!
Great if it hasn't, a lot of great work has come from there, and great sounding recordings too.

Very nice studio that!
Almost as impressive as the OP
Dual G5 PowerMac running Logic 8
Alesis Multimix 8
Alesis Studio 1 Mk 2 Active Monitors
Novation SuperNova 2 Pro X (48 voice)
Roland Fantom X8 (Fully expanded).
I fancy adding a Novation SL61 controller and changing the little mixer for a better one but don't really have the application for anything more and I can't afford a Moog modular!

My uber minimal setup! There's an amp and small monitors to my left which means i have to turn 90deg to hear in stereo! I make electronic stuff and use Logic 8 Pro, plugins and sample cds. I have a few guitars, a bass and a few old synths but except for one guitar they are all sitting in the loft getting dusty, no doubt hoping my loft conversion plans turn into a reality soon! Anyone know how to install Velux windows?
