Pickup Offroad?

Hello!

I know this has been overdone now so I apologies for starting it again. I have recently sold my defender 90 as I was wanting a long wheelbase 110. The defender for being such a great vehicle was not something that I would look forward to doing long distance in so I am now looking at other pickups available. I know I won't find a pickup as good as the defender offroad unless I get a 110 pickup however I was just looking for any opinions or experiences of pickups offroad.

I am currently looking at navaras (rapidly going off these with all the reviews!) or a hilux however I am open to any other suggestions of good offroad pickups. The hiluxs I have been looking at is the older 5th gen ones (2005 model)as they just look more robust than the older models.

Do any of these pickups has diff lock? I know it won't be like the defenders center diff as mostly all the pickups are only selectable 4wd however I can't find any exact answers on if the pickups have a diff lock system or no? I really want something with a diff lock of some sort as its helped me out alot in the old landy.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
