2015 ranger vs amarok?

Looking at leasing the above, looking at a hi line 180ps vs a 3.2 wild track, anyone tried both?
It will be road use, I want the vat angle, plus being able to take my bike to track days, and family seating.

The auto amarok, is a lot more money so I am not prepared to pay so much more than a manual, I need to get a test drive I think!?

I was going to buy an amarok outright, by going up the auctions and buying ex lease, but a friend of mine who is very much in the know said don't buy pre 2013, as these are made in Argentina, so I concluded lease purchase the way to go, and I parked next to aspanking Ranger yesterday and thought it was a lovely looking thing, like I say must get a drive..

Another friend of mine is a Toyota service manager, he runs an invincible demo car, so I am going to pinch that for an hour too, cheapest of the lot to lease, he reckons they drive nicer than the VW, what do we think?

What is it that swayed you to the Ranger ? What was wrong with the Auto box?

I have driven the amarok, Ranger should be today...

The engine in the Ranger is much more pleasing than the vw, but the dash a little more plasticy, and the ride a little more bouncey, but the ranger has it for me, the engine really has character, plus all the toys and less money, and then there's the Rangers engine, did I mention that!?

I agree, they have made the front uglier and the dash better, the dash was my main criticism on the current model vs the "Rock".

Ive just committed to a Aventura 3.0Tdi, i drove it and was immediately smitten!!
