Road rage....I'm a victim!

So, joining a roundabout when it was clear, started go go all the way round when a car refused to stop at the next entry road and missed me by about 5mm, by eventually screeching to a stop. I carry on and join the SZR....Next thing I know, said car (gold Patrol, Safari type with jet black windows) screams up beside me, then locks all 4 wheels in a cloud of smoke, before swerving in front of the car in front of me. I pull into the hard shoulder as he does.
Local fella gets out and grabs a cane out of the back and comes towards me. I get out, quite frankly to knock him out if that stick comes anywhere near me. However, he was about 20-25, 6 stone fully wet, and clearly wasn't very bright. His English consisted of "My Way" repeated over and over again. He was aso frothing from the mouth. I pointed at the stick and asked him what he intended to do with it..."Beat you badly" was his response. I mean, this stick was like a bamboo cane.....my 2 year old would I flict more damage.
Just then my phone rang and I picked it up. I told him to wait for a minute as I fully intended to react to this guy....he deserved it....however whilst on the phone he seemed to have a change of heart and sped off in a cloud of smoke.
I suspect this guy has these issues daily/weekly....just hope someone takes him off the road before he hurts someone. I got his plate number but not the prefix...worth reporting or more trouble than it's worth?
