How do you insure your 10yr+ car?
Discussion
Well as the title suggests my 911 turbo will be 10 in March and the insurance company have told me they will insure it to 10.5yrs as per renewal date and then to the under writers up to a max of 11yrs old for fully comprehensive insurance.
Now I bought the car hoping to keep it, take it back to Europe in 5yrs and maybe have a modern classic but the if I can't insure it fully comprehensively I may need to rethink that.
3rd party is fine if you can afford the parts and repair off the shelf but parts aren't easy to come by here and nor are they cheap and labour, you get what you pay for.
So thoughts, anyone been here and took a certain direction? My current insurer is AIG if that helps.
Thanks,
Kempus
