Track day insurance?

Be grateful for any advice on this - where to get it, what to look out for and what coats to expect etc. I'm looking for non-competitive but fully comp coverage. Ideally to cover a year, but would take event by event if that's all that's on offer.

Thanks guys - a lot of the insurance covers a person (i.e. health insurance), but not the car.

AUH Motorsports do offer it on a day-by-day basis, but it is hugely expensive. Be interested to see that AXA policy - mine certainly doesn't have it.

In case this is of interest to anyone, AUH motorsport provided the following quotes:

Accident repair cover Euro 50,000
Deductible` Euro 15,000
Max payout Euro 35,000
Premium AED 2,700

OR

Accident repair cover Euro 100,000
Deductible` Euro 15,000
Max payout Euro 85,000
Premium AED 4,450

Guys just to complete the loop on this - Oman insurance offer track insurance as part of their road insurance policies.

Premium is 1% of the agreed value of the car.

On a claim, the payout is not capped but is subject to (i) AED1,400 plus (ii) 15% of the value of the loss deductions. So, if your claim is 100k you will receive 83,600.

There is an age limit on the cars they will cover - I think its 5 years.
