Electric trailer winch

Hi all,

Looking to get a winch for the trailer as the manual one we have a a bit past it... Wondering what peoples recommendations are? And do you keep a seperate battery on trailer or wire into tow vehicle?

Racer is about 950kg but want a winch that will pull more if the worst happens...

Thanks Martin. Just with the trailer been.covered in Dave... always used a manual winch, but handle has snapped plus its a heavy beast for when im unfit lol... Electric is easier when you just got to press a button on or off lol...

Thanks!! I sell anderson connectors so thats not an issue to wire it up! Thats what I was thinking of doing too so good to know its tried and tested!!

Any recommendations on which winch to use??

Thanks! I sell all the ratchet straps to haulage co's so aware of all that! Already have safety chain and shackles etc there so no issues and sell maintenance spray which I use anyway on current winch wire.

As trailer is covered in, we have winch with safety chain at front, chocks and straps at rear. It aint going anywhere!! Lol... only difference will be elec winch rather than manual.
