Ok I know this to a degree has been done to death but try and humour me...;)
I've been looking at e-bay lately (yes I know fatal mistake number one) and notice some great little cars at silly cheap prices which intrinsically look ready to go, maybe not competitive but get you out there....they're up at around the 2k mark, mainly fiesta xr2's and the like.
Now my background is rallying, so suit/boots/helmet etc I already have.
Licence costs i'm aware of, so how much would I be looking at to do maybe 2 or 3 races per year? Probably Oulton/Anglesey etc...

Thanks for the heads up all much appreciated, going to have a nose at Anglesey this weekend...must say I was surprised at the cost of HSCC Gold Cup, 70's roadsports is £255 = 1 Qually and 1 x 20 minute race, coming from my rallying background that's hideously cheap in comparison....much thought in my household then
