Endurance Racing ???

Hi

I am just coming to completing my bike engine Spire, and would really like to endurance race it next year.
Searching the net has yielded little (or my searching is poor), does anyone know of endurance races I can enter?

Certainly NOT national level (just starting out)

Any pointers will be very much appreciated...

What about Britcar?

I don't know anything about it....can I race a SPire in it? Is it a very high level? (will I be too slow)

Working on a team of 4 in Britcar the sums indicate about £5k per seat, inc fuel and tyres.

Entry fee is £5100 for early entrants and includes 200litres of fuel.

6 sets of tyres (1 set lasted 4 hrs at Anglesey)

Another 160 ish litres of fuel would be £240 ish

Then there's all the beer and bacon butties...
