ARDS test medical whats involved?

I am 54 and generally in good health except for an osteoarthritic hip and consequently am a little concerned about the ECG stress test with regards to the necessity of having to run on a treadmill for ten minutes, not from the cardio fitness angle but purely can my leg take it as the hip problem weakens the leg muscles.

Anyone over 45 taken one recently?
