Advice on Historic Rallying
Discussion
Hi
I am interested in rallying a Porsche 924 after giving up on my 911 project as it would have been just too costly to put a 2.7 engine in kind of defeated the point of some cheapish rallying http://www.pistonheads.com/gAssing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Looking at eligibility for the Category 4 cars 1981-85 http://hrct.co.uk/msa-category-four-1985-vehicles/ Porsche 924 are not mentioned however http://www.rallye-info.com/carmodel.asp?car=126 shows Walter Röhrl ran a car. Second question the GTS is serious money but can I build a replica, as surely all those Escorts out there aren't genuine RS2000, Mexicos or RS1800 they must be built from parts.
Any thoughts appreciated
