Could anyone let me know what sort of cars one could expect to find in class 1F?

I'm about to start my first foray into hillclimbing and this is the class I'll be in.

Thanks gents.

Ah, didn't realise they're all different!

This is for Harewood. Cat 1F is for road derived sports and saloons over 2000cc.

Thanks for the Harewood link. Found a few, Chimera, Ferrari 430, TV V8S Etc. Pretty happy with that actually, was worried they'd be mental cars I can't beat.

I'll be in a 1981 Porsche 944 tarmac rally car.

Hi Ian,

Yes, I think I will take some instruction, can't hurt really.

Could you put me in touch with your IDMC bloke? My membership has lapsed - if it is one of the accepted clubs that allow hillclimb entry then I'll rejoin, if not I'll join another.

I'm not on the facebook so that's no good to me for comms.

Ian, just had a quick look at this: http://www.harewoodhill.com/competitors/school/

Don't think I'll sign up for this. £175 seems a bit silly for such a small amount of time on the hill, I'll just enter the July event.

I'll just wing it. If I feel like I could use some proper assistance I'll hire someone for some 1 on 1 stuff rather than a group.

Yes, 1F is a modified class. Running stripped out on 1B tyres.
