I currently run a Group 1 Capri with my racing partner in the CSCC Future Classics series. We have had some great fun but would like to race something that is more reliable. The Capri is an old girl and everything is at the limit.

We need a 2 driver format for races of 40 minutes to 1 hour. We don't want to race slicks due to cost. CSCC seems to have the New Millenium series. Would a Cayman be competetive here?

Does anyone know what series might be available?

Also, who are the experts for preparing and building a Cayman? We would want a 3.2 or 3.4.

Any comments welcome.

Thank you all for the comments so far. We travelled back from Spa late last night and in spite of a few issues we had such a good weekend I think we might do the Capri for another year! However, my racing partner has other plans for 2017 so maybe I will look at a solo Cayman challenge during 2016.
