Do E marked tyres qualify as 1b 1a list ?

No, but a tyre has to be on the 1A or 1B list if you wish to use it in an MSA sanctioned event that uses these ridiculous lists.
Technically in the UK the tyre only has to be E-marked in order to be sold for road use in the UK.
But if the tyre isnt E-marked and you are using it on the road, it opens up the whole Construction and Use rules which are even harder to understand than the MSA Blue Book, unless the tyre is very blatantly obviously a road tyre with full visible and legal tread.
This is exactly the problem, it's not clearly defined enought !Technically in the UK the tyre only has to be E-marked in order to be sold for road use in the UK.
